Dr. Todd S. Harris is board certified in General Surgery as well as fellowship trained in Interventional Medicine. Dr. Harris is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, one of the highest distinctions for a general surgeon. Dr. Harris was born and raised in South Carolina and is a graduate of The Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his general surgery training at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City. After completing his surgical residency, Dr. Harris was in private practice for 2 years then returned for a Cardio Vascular and Interventional Radiology (CVIR) fellowship at the University of Minnesota for one year. During this year, Dr. Harris performed over 1000 image guided procedures while continuing to work as a general and trauma surgeon. Dr Harris’ surgical experience during those years ranged from performing basic general surgery on an Indian Reservation in Arizona to advanced trauma surgery at a Level One Trauma center in Minneapolis. After completing his fellowship, he relocated to Newport Beach and Orange County to develop his practice. By using a combination of basic general surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and advanced image guided techniques, Dr. Harris can formulate treatment plans tailored to individual patients.
